Our latest check-in comes from a customer who contacted us eager for help with their AC units. They needed a full inspection of their units to make sure they were working properly. Being they had older units, the cost of repairs was too much with no warranty. That's where we came sweeping in with our expertise. To give the customer some quality cooling, we installed a 3-ton Heil and a 2-ton Bryant unit. Our team recently helped a customer who contacted us because there was no heat from their 3-year-old American Standard split system. We identified issue with the condensation line which was not level, preventing the furnace from draining properly. Additionally, we noticed the vent pipe wasn't level and water was gurgling inside. Our solution included adjusting both the condensation line and vent pipe. It's worth mentioning that the system started to heat again after we fixed the vent pipe, but we didn't stop until we also made sure the drain line was completely fixed. Now, we're happy to say that the furnace is not only heating again, but it's also draining properly. December 16th, 2024

We were called out to provide some Comfort Club Maintenance, and we're glad we did! We worked on a 6-year-old 3-ton Heil Split Heat Pump, checking all the electrical components and heating elements, flushing the drain line, inspecting the Freon pressures, and giving the coils a good clean. Happy to report, we didn’t find anything alarming that could affect its future performance. However, we did recommend renewing the Comfort Club membership for regular maintenance, adding a surge protector for safety, and a whole house air purifier for healthier indoor air. Our customer reached out to us about their home's HVAC system. We've just wrapped up a comprehensive $69 tune-up on a 1-year old, 3-ton Bryant Split Duel Fuel unit. Our hands-on investigation included checking all the electrical parts, flushing out the drain line, assessing heating constituents, monitoring Freon pressures, and even giving those coils a good flush with water. Results - there's nothing that could create complications down the line. We suggested joining our comfort club maintenance to ensure their system runs at peak performance, installing a surge protector to safeguard it from unexpected voltage spikes, and a whole-house air purifier to enhance their indoor air quality. Mr. Fuller reached out to us because he needed a routine Comfort Club Maintenance check. So, we stepped in and completed maintenance on his 14-year-old heat pump produced by Carrier. We gave the electrical components a once-over, flushed the drain line, spruced up the coils, ran Freon pressure tests, checked the defrost cycle, and assured that the ductwork was still in good shape. Everything was running smoothly, but we did spot some oil on the evaporator. This could indicate a refrigerant leak, so we informed Mr. Fuller to keep an eye out for it next time. Also, there was a contactor showing some early signs of wear and tear. Finally, we reminded him that it's time for a Comfort Club membership renewal. December 16th, 2024

We're out here providing a fix for a customer who approached us with a heating issue. They had no heat and their unit wasn't running, a chilly situation no doubt. So, we dove straight in. A quick inspection showed us the problem was a popped low voltage fuse. It did not take us long to notice a short on the high-pressure switch and bingo! A bit of tape on the spot where it was shorted and after testing the system we were up and running. We're just concluding an excellent service visit here. The homeowner reached out to us initially because their HVAC system needed a routine check. We dived in and performed our signature Comfort Club Maintenance, tuning up their 7-year-old Trane Split Heat Pump. A thorough examination of all the electrical components, flushing of the drain line, checking the heating portions, assessing Freon pressures, and cleaning the coils were part of the service. Everything's running smoothly - no immediate issues. Still, we've suggested enrolling in the Comfort Club Maintenance program for optimal system health. The customer reached out concerned over their 26-year-old 2 ton Carrier gaspack that wasn't heating properly. We promptly arrived for a thorough inspection and found several issues - a locked-up inducer motor, a cracked heat exchanger, an over-amping blower motor and compressor, and a low-reading capacitor. We suggested due to the numerous issues and costs of repair, it might be time to speak with our comfort advisor about a system replacement. However, in the meantime we quickly replaced the inducer motor and heat exchanger. On testing, the system is now running smoothly and heating properly. We always enjoy solving tough problems!
